The Process of Resurrection By Tb Joshua

The worship team of the Synagogue, Church Οf All Nations, sang hymns glorifying God which readied the hearts of the believers to receive healing, blessing and the deliverance they were seeking. Immediately afterward, in observation of Easter, Prophet Tb Joshua preached a revealing message titled “THE PROCESS OF RESURRECTION” . As he explained, resurrection, according to the 27th and 28th chapters of Matthew is a process, just as everything in life: Crucifixion, Death, Burial and Resurrection. The man of God pointed out that there can be no Resurrection unless the Burial is preceded, there can be no Burial without Death, and there can be no Death if there is no Crucifixion. Reading from Matthew 27:32-44 about the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the man of God pointed out that Jesus Christ was flogged, tortured, humiliated and dehumanized before He was brutally murdered. But He responded with forgiveness, saying, “Father forgive them”, knowing that His death would accomplish salvation for m...

Learn to control your character if you cannot control your circumstances

The choir spoke words of encouragement and sang hymns which touched the hearts of the congregation and led them to glorify and worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords, Jesus Christ! Then, evangelist Maria Sachpazidou in her message, “LEARN TO CONTROL YOUR CHARACTER” , said that every day we all face difficult situations that we do not know how to handle. In such cases she said, “Learn to control your character if you cannot control your circumstances”. After pointing out that everything in life has to do with our choices, she added that if we handle our hard times with care, they will soon turn to good times. Then she exemplified Apostle Paul and Sila, while reading from Acts 16:19-26, and reminded the congregation of the way in which the Apostles of God handled the difficult situation they faced. While they had not done any harm to anyone, they unjustly ended up in jail! Yet they did not cease to glorify and worship God even in prison. In this way they overcame, remaining...

Tb Joshua: Your Seat is still There

Being a very beautiful Sunday in this year, the church service witnessed a massive turn-out of congregants who came with their hearts full of glorious expectations for the New Year. Ushering them into the fresh vista of a new beginning, the choir dramatized the reality on ground by assuring every worshipper that the fears of the out-gone year have been buried in the past. “I am no longer a slave to fear… I am a child of God”. It was Prophet T.B. Joshua’s first appearance in The SCOAN after several months of physical absence. But as he would later tell the congregants, “You can see that your pastor did not go on holiday” . That short statement came on the heels of the massive demonstration of God’s power by the Holy Spirit through Prophet T.B. Joshua who prophesied and delivered many from the stranglehold of demonic forces. In less than thirty minutes, he had wreaked untold havoc on the kingdom of darkness! Evangelist Ruth had earlier assured Christians of the constancy of their place i...

Tb Joshua: Be Determined

Son of David, have mercy on me… Let Your mercy speak for me… Your divine favour locate me…” The choir heralded in the Sunday service with an appeal for mercy from the throne of grace, knowing that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. Evangelist Kimi Skota gave a heart-moving rendition of the Christian classic – Amazing Grace. The pungency of her voice and the clarity of the lyrics reminded all of the awesomeness of God – a loving Father always willing to welcome both the lost sheep and the prodigal son.EVANGELIST RACINEEvangelist Racine, in a message titled BE DETERMINED, urged believers to remain steadfast in the race, irrespective of the troubles they may encounter on their way to glory. He urged them to bless God in good and in bad times: “Those who find room in their hearts to bless the name of the Lord, in their trials, always have breakthrough.” He also encouraged them to move on, no matter what comes and no matter what happens. According to him, their faith...

The path Of Faith and Humility

Again, it was a morning of many manifestations as The SCOAN Choir called down the Hosts of Heaven. It was a most energetic praise and worship session in which the choristers performed a medley of songs from the general gospel repertoire, including iconic SCOAN songs such as ‘Spirit Pray Through Me’, ‘Sin’s Power Over Me Is Broken’, ‘Open My Heart To Your Word’, ‘Lead Me On’ and ‘God’s Love’. As congregants sang along with the choir, many began to swirl in the spirit and vomit the evil deposits in their bodies, thus receiving their freedom from sickness and satanic bondage. In a message titled “THE PATH OF FAITH AND HUMILITY” , Prophet Racine noted that following Jesus means following the narrow way of the Cross that requires Christians not to give room to the temptations of fear, ego, pride, greed and moral compromise. He took his first reading from Matthew 7:13-14 and later cited Luke 9:23, Matthew 10:38-39, John 6:54, Daniel 4:30-38 and Matthew 15:21-39 as he tried to show that true...

A New Opportunity to Mend your Ways with God

The living presence of the divine power of God was tangible in the air as The SCOAN Choir rendered songs of worship in the second Sunday Service for the year 2020. As they moved from song to song, the Holy Spirit overshadowed ‘The Arena of Liberty’ and congregants began to fall under the anointing as they walked into their freedom from disease, lack, indebtedness, disappointment and a host of other problems caused by the devil and his agent. Prophetess Yinka described the New Year as “ A NEW OPPORTUNITY TO MEND YOUR WAY WITH GOD ”, a message which focused on the need for Christians to seize the opportunity of a new year to amend their ways before God and to change their behaviour towards others . She took her proof text from Ephesians 4:17-23 but also read from Matthew 26:41, Proverbs 15:33, James 4:10, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Galatians 2:20 and Joshua 24:23. Prophetess Yinka strongly encouraged Christians to engage in serious self-examination and “to maintain a steady focus in an unsteady ...

Learn to Love Everyone, but Trust Only God

On the first Sunday of 2020, The SCOAN Choir reflected their vocal versatility when they prefaced The Synagogue’s unique songs with two traditional hymns, ‘O God Our Help In Ages Past’ and ‘Joyful Joyful’. As congregants watched the screens, they sang along with the choristers about God’s unfailing support for His children from the past to the present and the future, even as they implored God to teach them how to love one another and live in peace even in the midst of life’s troubles. Having been seeking the face of God for the new year 2020, Prophet T.B. Joshua shared with congregants and viewers some of the prophecies he had already received. Among the prophecies later read out by one of the evangelists was the recent incident involving the nation of Iran, an incident for which a prophecy had been given, though not released, shortly before it transpired. Stressing the need for God’s servants to be sure they have truly heard from God before they release any prophecy, the Prophet T.B. ...

Measure your Life by your Love for God

It was only three days before Christmas and expectedly, the ambience in ‘The Arena of Liberty’ reflected the colours of the season. From their stand, The SCOAN Choir dished out songs of praise and worship that echoed around the world. “Holy Spirit breathe in me,” they began. Thereafter, they asked the Holy Spirit to take more of the people and give them more of Himself. “Abba Father!” they also sang in praise, preparing the hearts of the people for a life changing encounter with Jesus. The sermon, titled ‘Measure Your Life By Your Love For God’ began with the Bible’s assertion that only the virtue of love can set faith to work, thereby pleasing God. Prophet T.B. Joshua read from 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV): “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” He said that love conquers evil and that Christians should depend on the Holy Spirit to lead them on whom to show love. “Love looks around to see who is in need, who is sick, who is unsaved, who is...
